The Electronic Execution Services (EES) Onboarding group manages systems integration and client connectivity requests while providing trading operational support for Scotiabank’s direct market access (DMA) and algorithmic trading systems. We are located with the electronic equity trading desk and work directly with all the business lines we support
We are seeking a motivated Delivery Manager who will be responsible for managing high profile system integration projects for both internal and external parties on a global basis as well as implementing technical system changes driven by business requirements.
This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of electronic trading, including algorithmic strategies, trader workflow, market structure, and low-latency trading.

The position will be a primary technical resource for the Electronic Execution Services team. Key responsibilities are:
Deliver electronic trading related projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology, working closely with the EES Trading desk and sales team
Extensive interaction with clients, vendors and exchanges to manage and maintain FIX connectivity for electronic trading as well as onboard new clients
Perform 2nd level support of production trading systems to troubleshoot and quickly resolve any issues or questions.
Leverage a strong knowledge of equity trading strategies, technology and market structure to provide leadership for the team.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
Strong communication skills and project management/business analysis experience
Systems design and trouble-shooting skills.
Experience with Electronic Trading and capital markets
Background in related topics such as FIX, market data, trading applications, and market microstructure would be beneficial.
Ability to work efficiently in a noisy and distracting trade floor environment, shifting effectively between development and production items.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to bridge between technical content and business objectives
Has the ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment
Motivated to learn and keep developing
